Young Viticulturist of the year
The prestigious New Zealand's Young Viticulturist of the Year Competition is held to find a National Viticulture representative to compete in the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition and to celebrate the young talent in our region. The Hawke's Bay regional 2016 competition was held on Thursday, 7th July at Te Awa Estate Winery.
Congratulations to Cameron Price from Villa Maria who became not only the Bayer Hawke’s Bay Young Viticulturist of the Year 2016, but also the national winner!!
Congratulations also goes out to Anton Luiten from Selaks, Constellation who came second in the regional competition, and to Jascha Oldham-Selak from Te Mata who came third.

Hawke's Bay Silver Secateurs Competition
Silver Secateurs is held in conjunction with Young Viticulturist of the Year competition.
Thornhill Horticultural Contracting’s, Feagai Peivi retained the Individual trophy he took out in 2015.
