Reference Tasting

Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers invite all New Zealand Chardonnay producers to supply their Chardonnay wine for a reference tasting for the keynote speakers at the Aotearoa Chardonnay Symposium. This tasting offers a unique benchmarking opportunity for panellists to sample the style, breadth and quality of New Zealand Chardonnay in advance of the Symposium on the 26th and 27th of September.

• Producers may supply only one Chardonnay per winery / brand.
• Only still wines can be submitted and must be 100% from Chardonnay grapes.
• Submit one bottle (or two if under cork).
• Wines will be tasted blind but presented by region.
• Maximum of 100 wines will be put forward for the reference tasting.

If you would like to submit your Chardonnay, please email the registration form to [email protected] and send in your wine. Wines must arrive no later than Friday 13 September.
