Exploring our sense of place in Chardonnay.

September 26th & 27th 2024

Taking place on September 26th and 27th in the beautiful Te Matau-a-Māui Hawke’s Bay, the symposium will be held at the recently refurbished Toitoi: Hawke’s Bay Arts and Event Centre in Hastings.

Expanding on our foundation of education and community laid in 2023, this year the Symposium shifts focus to explore the sense of place in Aotearoa Chardonnay.

This immersive event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and wine tastings, offering a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and inspiration.

Who Should Attend?

Winemakers

Winemakers and winery owners will find the entire symposium beneficial, offering a complete exploration of Chardonnay from bedrock through to market, with tasting guiding all discussion.

Wine Growers

Viticulturalists will be interested in the soil-focussed programming which engages with the viticultural impact on fine Chardonnay.

Those who have a particular interest in the role of geology in terroir and tasting shouldn't miss this.

Sales, Marketing, and more

Brand and Sales Managers will find the discussions of our theme Sense Of Place informative for their communications with consumers.

All those eager to learn from subject matter experts, industry peers, and share their own insights.
