Speakers:
Murray Cook
Winemaker, Dog Point & Nous
Murray Cook brings over 20 years of wine industry experience, honed in Central Otago, the Yarra Valley, Burgundy, and for the past 16 years, Marlborough. As winemaker at Dog Point Vineyard since 2013, Murray focuses on crafting exceptional wines, including Chardonnay, which reflects the unique terroir of one of Marlborough’s oldest privately established vineyards, located at the confluence of the Brancott and Omaka Valleys. All fruit is hand-picked from low-cropped vines in New Zealand’s largest organic Biogro-certified vineyard. In 2018, Murray and his wife Rachael established their label, ‘Nous,’ continuing their commitment to producing terroir-driven wines of outstanding quality.
Murray will present and talk to a flight of Marlborough Chardonnays that are stretching boundaries of quality and style.
