Annual General Meeting
Alongside the formal activities (see the Agenda below) there will be key updates such as the Chair’s Report and a review of the year’s achievements. You can read the reports here.
Celebrating our Wine Community
This year we are proud to celebrate our people with the induction of two new life members – Peter Robertson of Brookefields and Richard Brimer. Join with us as we honour those who have made a lasting mark on Hawke’s Bay Wine.
NZ Wine
We are delighted to be hosting Fabian Yukich, Chair, and Philip Gregan, Chief Executive Officer. This may be the last time Philip is in region pending his retirement.
Wine Auction
After Cyclone Gabielle several New Zealand wineries contributed some of their fabulous wines. We shall be auctioning these off on the evening through a Silent Auction. All funds raised will go to Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers Charitable Trust to be used to support those directly affected by the cyclone. If you can’t make the AGM but want to support this fundraiser then please see the Wine Auction Lots here and email your bid to [email protected]
We’ll be serving delicious nibbles—so please bring along a bottle of wine to share and enjoy with us all.

3. Presentation of the Annual Report (attached) of Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers Association Inc. for year ended June 2025 including:
- Chair Report
- Executive Officer Report
- Draft Annual Accounts
4. Confirmation of Changes to Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers Constitution (attached)
Special Resolution:
That the members of Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers Incorporated, having received and reviewed the draft Constitution updated in accordance with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, hereby approve and adopt the revised Constitution as presented, effective immediately upon ratification at this Annual General Meeting.

- Aligns with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 requirements
- Updates membership rules, including member consent and register obligations;
- Clarifies governance, officer duties, confliects of interest and dispute resolution processes;
- Modernises and streamlines language with removing legacy provisions; and
- Reflects current Board practices and recommendations.
